About me

Personal notes

I’m a PhD candidate at the University of Colorado Boulder in the sociology department where I study the intersection of demography and disasters. During my studies, I work at the Natural Hazards Center for Dr. Lori Peek as a research assistant and the data analyst for the Social Science Extreme Events Research (SSEER) Network. I also serve as a co-editor on a forthcoming issue of the International Journal of Mass Emergencies and Disasters and mentor in the Undergraduate Research Experience in Diversity at the Institute of Behavioral Science (UREDI).
